Jessica King |

Casselberry, Florida

Issue Area | Good Health and Well-being

Jessica King, a Central Florida resident for over 25 years, is a distinguished leader in women's health. She holds two bachelor's degrees in Chemistry and History, a Master's in Mechanical Engineering, and a Master's in Physics, all earned at the University of Central Florida. With a passion for pioneering research, Jessica worked in research laboratories, specializing in implementing nanoparticles for biotech applications. She expanded beyond the lab as she worked for over a decade as a high school AP physics teacher and as an adjunct professor. Recently, Jessica graduated with a Master's in Bioengineering from Harvard University. During her time at Harvard, she laid the foundation for her entrepreneurial venture, FlowIntell. FlowIntell aims to provide women with easy access to accurate information, personalized care, and effective tools for endometriosis screening. Currently, FlowIntell is participating in a residency program at the UCF Health Sciences Incubator in Lake Nona, Florida.

Driven by her unwavering belief in the importance of FemTech, Jessica is dedicated to breaking down barriers and eliminating stigmas surrounding women's health. Her ultimate goal is to facilitate open conversations regarding endometriosis and fertility and empower women to achieve optimal health and quality of life. With FlowIntell, Jessica King is committed to reshaping the landscape of endometriosis, driving positive change, and reminding the world that women's health deserves royal treatment.

FlowIntell helps the 10% of women globally who suffer from endometriosis expedite diagnosis and detection through a noninvasive and rapid in-home screening kit.

Kathryn Decker |

Cherry Hill, New Jersey

Issue Area | Responsible Consumption and Production

Kathryn Decker is interested in how technology and analytics can be utilized to help inform and improve decision-making. This is a passion that has matured for her throughout her career. Kathy cofounded Softly to make making decisions that are sustainable and beneficial to people, communities, and the planet easier and more rewarding.

Kathy has a background in analytical sciences, quality assurance, and operations management. She holds a BS in Forensic Science from Michigan State University and an eMBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology. She has held positions within the government, biotech, and pharmaceutical sectors. She has led corporate teams focused on launching new products and developing global strategic initiatives within complex regulatory environments. She excels at building rapidly growing teams and identifying processes and systems that will scale with emerging needs.

Venture | Softly

Softly upgrades the global value chain by simplifying sustainability certification and product traceability. Softly uses machine learning and Web3 technology to verify businesses' sustainability efforts and optimize the return on their investment in ecolabels.

Lisa Chen |

Milton, Ontario, Canada

Issue Area | Life Below Water

Having worked as a marine biologist, divemaster, and educator worldwide, Lisa is highly passionate about ocean conservation and education. While diving in some of the most pristine reefs in the world, she found marine debris to be a common denominator and disproportionately impact impoverished communities. Her experience inspired her to start Oceanic Impact, focusing on positively impacting the ocean and society by empowering communities to take action. She has many years of international, interdisciplinary, and intercultural experience in marine biology, conservation, fisheries, aquaculture, and education.

She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Neuroscience from McGill University and a Master of Marine Management degree from Dalhousie University. Her Master's thesis focused on creating an ocean literacy framework to guide future ocean education initiatives and create an ocean-literate community. Having worked concurrently in government, academia, environmental not-for-profit, and industry, Lisa strives to incorporate a holistic lens into tackling ocean issues at local, national, and international levels.

Muhammad Sannan Khan |

Lahore, Pakistan

Sannan Khan is a Co-founder of Foster Learning, a platform for youth to build their interpersonal and professional skills and enable them to start their initiatives as entrepreneurs. Sannan is Chartered Accountant by academics and a change catalyst by passion.

Foster Learning is an ed-tech social enterprise; that aims to empower Pakistani youth through continuous training and development, especially soft skills, and improve employability via skills-based education and entrepreneurship.

Shazadi Faiza | Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan

Shazadi Faiza is a tech entrepreneur who aims to empower women with digital skills. Shazadi Faiza is the Founder of Digital Girls. Her empathy towards women led her to establish Digital Girls. She believes every Pakistani woman should have the opportunity to pursue her dreams and build her career in the tech and digital industry.

Digital Girls is an online learning platform that helps Pakistani women kick-start their freelancer careers, become financially independent, and excel in the freelancing industry without having a degree or relevant experience.

Wilbur Pack, Jr. | Brooklyn, New York

Issue Area | Quality Education

Brooklyn-based and Halloween-born Wilbur Pack, Jr. is the designer and owner of B.Brave by SK WiLBUR, a stylish line of brightly colored backpacks featuring powerful images of original comic book-inspired artwork that provides families with practical and fun alternatives to other backpacks on the market currently. As a 17-year-old Baruch College freshman, he was excited to take his first Black Studies course, but as he learned about all the important changemakers, writers, and activists, he wondered why it was the first time he was learning about them. So, now he uses his 26 years of experience in the fashion industry and skills as a bag designer to create backpacks that tell the stories of historical superheroes like Bayard Rustin, who was the architect of the 1963 March on Washington and mentor to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Barbara Jordan, the first Black congresswoman from the Deep South and the first Black woman to deliver a keynote address at the Democratic National Convention.
