He is focused on solving "white flag" problems - those that customers have surrendered to. He earned a bachelor's in Business management and marketing, and a master's in sport management. He grew up in a zero-waste household, so when he found out of the 16 billion lbs. of groceries go to waste while marketing groceries at Winn-Dixie, he just had to build Cherripick. Maitland, Florida

Issue Area | Economic Development

Jason Crystal is an operations minded crowdfunding enthusiast. After graduating university with a degree in economics, he went on trade energies and metals for several years as an independent proprietary trader. He then joined the IDF where he served in the Nahal Brigade and afterward stayed in Israel to earn a masters in government. From there he started his first job in fintech with a global payments company called Payoneer as a fraud analyst and became a team lead monitoring large withdrawals. An opportunity came up in NYC with a ticket pricing technology company called Broker Genius, where he was one of the first employees and later became COO. Broker Genius grew to over 120 employees in 5 countries and raised over 20MM in venture funding. After helping other businesses solve scaling pain points as a consultant, the fire to get back to focusing solely on one company/idea was reignited when he stumbled into investment crowdfunding and the exciting possibilities in that space to help businesses at a local level. Miventure recently launched a product to do just that and we're currently working to optimize the product and reach a wider audience.
